Visit us - we will happily show you our facilities and beautiful gardens (see the tour) although we ask that you support us with a donation of $20 per person (children under 14 are free) and that you make an appointment beforehand please.

Investment in the main breeding facility land - with prices rising this makes a good long term investment for the future.

Practical Help

Equipment - we always need:

      Tools, wire, fencing, posts, pipes, electrical cable, outside lights,
      Aviary mesh.
      Computer supplies including printer cartridges, a laptop, disks, cd's
      Incubators, feeding dishes, bird nets, water bowls, indoor cages
      Welding machines, lawn mowers, rotorvators, water pumps.
      Carrying boxes.
      Wheelbarrows , food mixing bowls, feed trays.

Feed - macaw baby hand-rearing formula, bird gel, nutriberries, calcium tablets, nuts.

Supplies - bird rings, DNA sexing

Veterinary Supplies - disinfectants, blood/fecal sample charges, Isoflurane, dog flea and worm treatments.

Toys - any substantial toys for the birds - new, second hand, handmade.

Time - fund raisers, promoters.

Volunteers - (see volunteer sections) - volunteer your skills:
      Bird skills, teaching,
      Field research skills
      Gardening, joinery, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding.
      Or just your enthusiasm!!!

Teaching - (see our kids & education sections)

Urgently needed:
      One or two carrying boxes.
      Black nets for catching birds.
      Emergency power supply unit.
      A four drawer filing cabinet.
      Shower matting for nursery cages.
      Large pots of calcium tablets.
      Lawn mower.
      A second hand car.
