The former NFL player and three-time Super Bowl champion Tim McKyer has been arrested in Florida for a hit-and-run incident, as per police reports obtained by TMZ. The 60-year-old allegedly hit five parked vehicles in a parking garage in Riviera Beach and then fled the scene. Police confirmed visible damage to the cars, with some being rendered “inoperable.” McKyer was reportedly showing signs of inebriation when police made contact with him, and he was subsequently taken into custody and transferred to a nearby hospital. He admitted to being the driver of his Tesla that evening and was booked on five charges of hit and run. McKyer enjoyed a 12-season career in the NFL, playing for several teams including the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and Denver Broncos. He won three Super Bowls during his career and logged 33 career interceptions in 170 games played. McKyer is scheduled to appear in court on March 4.
