They’ll have their charges dismissed and their records expunged if they complete it. Both will also receive 15 months probation. Carson Briere and two other Mercyhurst student athletes were caught pushing an empty wheelchair down the stairs. A woman has started a GoFundMe to help the woman purchase a new chair. The Erie Police Department is investigating the incident. Carson Briére and two other student-athletes have been suspended. Carson Briére admitted he pushed the wheelchair and provided a statement to TMZ Sports where he apologized for his actions. His father also condemned the behavior, expressing that they are inexcusable and counter to the family’s values.
