Ensuring Quality Refereeing: A Priority for the NFL

The officiating in the league’s Sunday Night game was terrible. QUarterback Patrick Mahomes was hit clearly heading toward out of bounds, but the refs still called a penalty. Then, there was the pass to MArques Valdes-Scantling, where he was going backwards out of bounds, which meant the clock should have kept rolling. Don’t worry, Packers got their make-em-even call. The NFL really doesn’t care. Most refs have other jobs during the week, and doesn’t seem to be on the radar. Would cost owners more money that they’ll never notice. Seems like NFL refs aren’t keeping up. It might be exactly what the league wants. Hakan Çalhanoǧlu scored the opening goal in an incredible play. In hockey, the L.A. Kings were kicking the Avalanche up and down the ice, ended with a silly goal from Trevor Lewis.
