Inclusion of NBA Coaches in All-Star Festivities: A Necessary Addition

NBA requests participation from top stars for the All-Star competition, it’s reasonable. There are few rewards for coaches aside from the Eastern and Western Conference coaches. There exists a concern that injuries may occur if older guys are included in the competitions. These competitions without James Harden, Kevin Durant and Tim Duncan may prevent the event from being dull. Furthermore, the NBA 3-point Contest is well suited for former experienced players, particularly with the categories Sporting Legends and Retired Pros. Such game would be able to draw more engagements due to the visibility built by these former professionals. The NBA should organize these competitions in order to give their professional athletes and their coaches a chance to show off their skills and make the event more interesting.
