The AFC West became more intriguing a couple weeks ago when the Los Angeles Chargers hired Jim Harbaugh as head coach – replacing Brandon Staley. The Chargers are expected to look much different on the field, especially on offense, with Herbert expected to play without any excuses. Harbaugh’s specialty is offense, and he will be expected to bring performance out of Herbert. As a result, nothing but great things are expected from Herbert. If Harbaugh meets those expectations, the Chargers should be in the playoffs every season and Herbert should consistently be among the top three or four QBs in the league.
