Ravens Reign Supreme: The Best Team in the Playoffs

The Divisional Round was intense for most of the favorites. The Detroit Lions almost let the game slip away against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The San Francisco 49ers were lucky that Jordan Love struggled in the fourth quarter against the Green Bay Packers. The Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game was a toss-up. However, the Baltimore Ravens dominated the weekend.

The Ravens beat the Houston Texans 34-10 and held them to just 68 total yards in the second half. On offense, they were not spectacular in the first half, but they scored three touchdowns on their first three drives of the second half. They finished with 229 yards rushing and their quarterback, CJ Stroud, was under constant pressure.

The Ravens ranked first in defensive DVOA and were fourth in offensive DVOA at the end of the 2023 season. They have shown their dominance in the playoffs by winning by more than one score in the Divisional Round.

The Ravens were the only team to cover the spread in the Divisional Round and were able to dominate their opponent.

The 49ers and Lions had some defensive flaws, while the Ravens, although not flawless, are closer to it than any team remaining in the postseason.

The AFC Championship matchup will be dynamic, with the Baltimore Ravens proving to be the best team in the NFL.
