The New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh gave quarterback Aaron Rodgers the Gang Green light for appearances on The Pat McAfee Show during his weekly Monday appearance on Michael Kay’s program. Rodgers had a “flush the bullsh*t” press conference declaring the Jets had to take a “no-nonsense” approach to becoming a winning organization. Saleh supported Rodgers’ talk show appearances as mere entertainment, encouraging his focus on winning games. Rodgers also deflected questions about turning TV appearances into “bullsh*t” and teased addressing these topics on his upcoming show. Saleh dismissed conspiracy theories and distractions as “entertaining conversation,” furthering the notion that they don’t negatively affect the team. This, of course, predated Rodgers’ actual McAfee’s show appearance in which he notably did not apologize for previous insinuations and used the platform to discuss COVID vaccines, alternate remedies, and Dr. Fauci “misinformation.”
