The End of ESPN’s Pat McAfee and Aaron Rodgers Disaster

In the past, journalism frowned upon the spread of false information, until FOX News saw the potential for profit in disregarding the truth. They spread lies about Barack Obama, election fraud, and January 6, leading Dominion to sue FOX and win $787 million. ESPN paid $85 million for “The Pat McAfee Show,” but it now features conspiracy theories when Aaron Rodgers appears. ESPN has yet to respond to Rodgers spreading misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic and maligning Jimmy Kimmel. Disney, the parent company of ESPN and ABC, may need to address the situation. Despite the potential fallout, it is likely that Rodgers will continue sharing misinformation on McAfee’s show.
