Caitlin Clark broke the NCAA women’s basketball points record with 49 points, and fellow women’s basketball player Lauryn Taylor set a record for most rebounds with 44 in a game for Francis Marion University. Taylor also achieved a new career-high of 34 points and her 18th double-double of the season, leading the NCAA in Division II with 13.6 rebounds per game. Furthermore, Taylor moved up the record books for Francis Marion, placing ninth on the all-time scoring list with 1,603 total points and seventh on the career rebounding list with 948.
